Elena Carlie was born in Romania; a country known for its rich cultural heritage and great natural beauty. Raised in Los Angeles, California, D’Alessandro was the youngest of three brothers. When art competition was a form of play for the brothers, it later grew into his obsession. D’Alessandro attended the Art Institute of California where he explored mixing mediums as well as digital. He also attended Illustration, Sculpting, and Fine Art workshops in Fullerton Ca. After spending long periods of time studying different techniques, D’Alessandro's art became increasingly influenced by artists from the early 1900s. During D’Alessandro’s studies, he painted many different themes. He painted with restless intensity, often painting from morning until night. D’Alessandro was able to indulge his earliest artistic preferences for people, nature, architecture, and landscapes in his illustration and personal pieces. He also painted family, friends, and gardens. He has done commissioned work for a variety of clients in music, publishing, and editorial. His work has been exhibited in numerous private and public collections.

After completing her education, Beverly Fuller spent the next year traveling all across the United States, soaking up inspiration that launched her into a creative journey of becoming a painter. The item itself seems well made, but seems to be a lot plainer in person than the pictures showing on Wayfair. I selected this one at a higher price and really long lead/shipping time (2-3months), over a similar picture, due to the description stating this print had “Extra Added Texture” hand applied after printed. The painting I received does not have any texture to it that I can tell. It feels like a print with a clear coat. It did arrive 1 month earlier than the delivery date, which normally would have been appreciated, but I happened to be out of town for 2 weeks when it arrived on our porch. Maybe that is why it was early….texture didn’t get applied? I didn’t want to go through the hassle of returning, so I will keep it and maybe try adding some texture and sparkle to it myself, so it stands out a little more. Artist Mari Urasawa was born in Tokyo, Japan, where various cultures continually crossed paths. She was born into a creative family that appreciated art, music, and philosophy. She enjoys movies, yoga, travel, reading, and scuba diving. She studied Fine Arts in college. She was especially interested in Printmaking and liked silkscreen and etching because of the way it combined hand painting and digital looks. “Art is a part of my life and cannot live without. There is no right or wrong about art. It has the freedom to express whatever you feel. I paint what I see, not what it is supposed to look.” She works in mixed media and combines both digital and hand-painted works to create her unexpected looks.

Elle Youngstrom was born in San Diego, CA. Self-taught and without formal training, she credits her grandfather as a great influence in her artistic career. While watercolor is her first love, she also works with diverse textures and mediums, utilizing her art as a way to express and communicate her feelings. Austin Bev grew up on the tough streets of Brooklyn, where the expression of oneself was usually done through wall tagging, or as they say in Italian, "graffito."
