Elena Carlie was born in Romania; a country known for its rich cultural heritage and great natural beauty. At the age of 22, she moved to the United States where she expanded her horizons and grew as an artist. It is a way to articulate abstract thought and separates us from other life forms. Art is incredibly therapeutic for me, and foremost a strong passion. It’s not something I think about, but rather, something I feel.” Carlie finds inspiration everywhere. She strives to discover new ways of interpretation and sees this as a formula to remain fresh. It is a way of having fun while doing something that she loves. “To me, anything that can be manipulated can become an art medium.” “I love to work with watercolor paint, oil paint, acrylic paint, pencil, pen, and ink. However, the digital tools available today are pushing the limits of creativity and I find myself very involved with it.”

Brad Ellis is a Texas-based artist whose focus is on abstract painting. Throughout his career, he has continually experimented with imagery from tightly rendered, systematic patterns to loosely constructed, expressionistic compositions. He has distinguished himself by embracing the ancient medium of encaustic which is hot wax painting and is a process by which heated beeswax is mixed with pigments and applied to board or canvas and then fused to the surface with a heat source. Brad approaches each new painting with the same consistency that he's employed for many years now which he referred to as “Pattern, Rhythm, and Process.” He typically starts each painting by building up layers of paper and/or fabric collage materials by cutting and mounting these pieces onto the canvas or board and arranging them in a way to form the underlying pattern of the painting. This helps lay the foundation for the initial imagery and paves the way for the applications of the other mediums.

For Jean, art means lots of things. She thinks art is her language and a privilege given to her to express. It is also the way that she can communicate with the world in her own unique and personal way. Jean finds her inspiration in small things that make her excited. For example, movies, a lazy day on a beach, and the silence of a rainy day. Although she mostly works on digital media, Jean loves to draw with a pen and markers. She especially likes to draw cityscapes that involve perspective and stories of city life. During the weekends, Jean often goes outside into the city, studies people and buildings around her, and brings them to life in her sketchbook. Raised in Los Angeles, California, D’Alessandro was the youngest of three brothers. When art competition was a form of play for the brothers, it later grew to his obsession. D’Alessandro attended the Art Institute of California where he explored mixing mediums as well as digital. He also attended Illustration, Sculpting, and Fine Art workshops in Fullerton Ca. After spending long periods of time studying different techniques, D’Alessandro's art became increasingly influenced by artists from the early 1900s. During D’Alessandro’s studies, he painted many different themes. He painted with restless intensity, often painting from morning until night. D’Alessandro was able to indulge his earliest artistic preferences for people, nature, architecture, and landscapes in his illustration and personal pieces. He also painted family, friends, and gardens. He has done commissioned work for a variety of clients in music, publishing, and editorial. His work has been exhibited in numerous private and public collections.
