Artist Commentary: Herb, weed or flower? Queen Anne’s Lace, often called wild carrot, is actually all three! The root is edible and has been used for medicinal purposes for years. In some states, however it is banned because of its’ invasive properties and is considered a problematic weed. In other states it is grown in flowerbeds and considered a flower. Regardless, I think it’s gorgeous and love how it dances in the wind.
