A design collaboration by Amber Lewis and Four Hands. Having grown up in the rural south, painter Chelsea Fly’s works are inspired by the region’s landscapes and skies. Experimental in her methods and mediums, the Tennessean uses art to examine the connection to “place.” Handmade in Austin, Texas.

Calls to mind the nostalgic photography of Helmut Newton, a German-Australian photographer whose black-and-white images became a defining feature of fashion photography in the 20th century. This intentionally slightly blurred photograph encapsulates the grandeur and allure of classic Hollywood glamour while also hinting at the deeper complexities of strength and sophistication. Style and mystery are communicated through the woman's voluminous, floppy hat that fills the entire frame while her chic shades add an air of enigma.
