The item itself seems well made, but seems to be a lot plainer in person than the pictures showing on Wayfair. I selected this one at a higher price and really long lead/shipping time (2-3months), over a similar picture, due to the description stating this print had “Extra Added Texture” hand applied after printed. The painting I received does not have any texture to it that I can tell. It feels like a print with a clear coat. It did arrive 1 month earlier than the delivery date, which normally would have been appreciated, but I happened to be out of town for 2 weeks when it arrived on our porch. Maybe that is why it was early….texture didn’t get applied? I didn’t want to go through the hassle of returning, so I will keep it and maybe try adding some texture and sparkle to it myself, so it stands out a little more. These look beautiful. Theyre just like whats in the pictures. They are a little higher priced and they arent painted or textured however they look definitely worth what I paid and I wouldnt think twice about buying them again. Artist Janice Sadler created her painting series in watercolor as an ode to her Southern California home. Donna Bernstein is a self-taught artist, painter, and sculpture. Donna drew and painted horses since she was a child. What differentiates her work is that, unlike most “equestrian” Artists, she did not grow up around horses. She did not live on a ranch. But instead, was spiritually connected to horses with an intuitive sense of them. Donna studied them voraciously; their anatomy, form, and attitudes. She had to create her horses in order to have them, her imagination played a great role, and so her stylized abstractive works reflect a non-realistic perspective, but with accurate anatomy.
