Background is really beige almost yellowish . There this (I don’t know what to call it ) “puzzle piece” on her mid back that is very white and rectangular with a jagged edge . Not sure what it’s suppose to be but looks like a poorly cut bandaid . My eye goes straight to it as it’s so stark white compared to the rest of her back . Guess that’s what I get for ordering “art” without seeing it in person . Other than the yellow background and bandaid on her back , it’s tolerable. To me it’s worth about 400 dollars . Fern Cassidy was born in Oakland, CA but grew up in Colorado. She enjoys traveling, being outdoors, food and painting. Fern studied drawing and painting at CSU Long Beach where she learned a lot from professors that she trained under but most of her experience comes from her personal practice. She works in all mediums including oil, acrylic, watercolor, gouache but also likes to experiment with textiles and fiber arts as well.
