Romantic Figures 6 is a series of six playful prints reminiscent of illustrated playing cards. The series is a delightful mash-up of early synthetic cubist sentiments and bold German expressionist figures. Synthetic cubism of the early 20th century began to blur the boundaries between painting and sculpture by offering a new understanding of the pictorial surface. During the same time, German expressionism broke away from traditional norms of representing the human figure. In Romantic Figure 6, the royal prince stands determined at court confident of his position. Wearing a dark crown, he calculatingly balances an apple in the palm of his hand. His hunter-green robe tops his cubist truncated khaki trousers. He claims his fate. Part of the exclusive collection, Romantic Figures 6 offers a striking portrayal of synthetic cubism and German expressionism in this original series of works.

We ordered these a few months ago, and when we decided to hang them today, we noticed they differ in dimensions! So now, because we did not check them in the 30-day period, we are stuck with the misalignment in the middle of our living room. Colored ice artwork was inspired by crisp and clear snow that has all the colors of the rainbow and gives us pure energy from the skies. Often standing on the top of a large mountain while preparing to ski down the slope, I feel that there is no other reality. Going down the slopes, I see all white powder in different colors because of the sun's rays and reflections. At the bottom of the mountain, we always find shelter in a warmer, quieter place.
