Erica Hauser is a New York-based artist who is influenced by Mid-Century design, colors, and vintage handmade aesthetics. Erica focuses primarily on patterns and how shapes coexist with each other on a surface. She also finds inspiration in the concept of what makes us who we are, based on what we choose to look at and think about. Her work is about gathering materials to see what we respond to. Painting allows her to bring objects back into the conversation, from one everyday life into another.
John Beard Collection
Distortion is a fine art reproduction with artist hand embellishments of an original hand-painted painting by living American artist John Beard. This piece is made to order in John’s St. Augustine, FL studio, by John and staff just for you. This piece is also available in different dimensions and should be hung Horizontal. For years John lived abroad – working tirelessly to help the world become a better place. Feeding the hungry, providing medical attention, warm clothes and an inspirational message to children in over 35 nations. His past and present catalyze on canvas to create something much more than an image hangingon a wall. For those who discover him, artist John Beard is a rare find, like the paintings he creates. “Each work takes on a life of its own, breathing life into the constant shapes, colors and ideas flowing through my mind; expressing something words cannot.” – John Beard

The artist, David Brown, studied and received his fine arts training at California State University of Long Beach and graduated with a BFA in Drawing and Painting in 2018. As a child, he watched his older brother draw and recalls wanting to draw just like him when he grew up. David currently lives in Long Beach, California, and has been lucky to show his work in multiple group shows and a few solo shows, mostly based in the Los Angeles area. His traditional work includes oil, charcoal, and graphite. He is strongly influenced by the Renaissance, Baroque, and a lot of today’s contemporary work. David’s work is predominately focused on the human figure. “People are my inspiration. I love learning people’s stories and trying to capture the sitter’s narrative through my drawings/paintings. I love drawing people from life, I feel that my work focuses on the relationship between artist and model”. His art is his one true passion and he believes that, “artists are super sensitive and emotional human beings, our work is a physical representation of our thoughts and emotions, a diary that we choose to share with the world”.
