“Sabie Forest" is the signature design and it comes in three colorways, Delta, Moonlight, and Dawn. It encapsulates the vibrancy and richness of the bush. Fée and the Ardmore design team allowed their imagination to work with the beautifully rich and detailed patterned plant and animal motifs found on Ardmore ceramic surfaces to weave through into this design. Mischievous monkeys hang off of elephants’ trunks, giraffes and snakes mingle amid patterned reeds and foliage, and an elusive striped and spotted King Cheetah cavorts through a leafy glen.

This much-loved design from 1875 marked the beginning of a period in which Morris created large-scale designs for wallpaper. One of his most iconic patterns, it was the very first wallpaper released by Morris and Co. and now produced as a fabric and tapestry weave. With complex layering and vigorous curves, the scrolling acanthus foliage produces a three-dimensional effect.

Like the cross-section of a truffle, this archived design is made from lines of pin dots on a spotted ground. A lovely mix of texture and tone, used as a coordinate to the entire Sanderson range.

Created in collaboration with Caroline Z Hurley, Rosie Posy Woven is a sweet small-scale floral based on Hurley's original paintings. A cotton-linen blend woven on a jacquard loom, this playful design adds charm and artistry to any interior.

Ashbee botanical is an airy allover floral fabric with wonderful movement and a loose, stylized aesthetic. Printed on a cotton ground with a soft hand and lovely drape, this versatile medium-scale design works beautifully on furniture, windows, and pillows.

In 18th-century Europe, Indian-dyed cloths known as Palampores were prized as hand-printed bed coverings and wall hangings. The inspiration for our pattern is a palampore featuring a flower-and-fruit-bearing serpentine tree emerging from a hillock with stylized peaks. Originally sourced to Sri Lanka, it was likely made for European communities in Batavia and Colombo, or for families of mixed European and Asian descent wishing to emulate Western taste. The Metropolitan Palampore print features an elemental design depicting a flower-and-fruit-bearing tree digitally printed on a cotton-and-linen blend. This pattern is also available in a complementary wallpaper and mural in various colorways. This captivating collection, created in collaboration with The Met, draws on artworks and objects from across nine of The Met’s 17 curatorial departments to create a rich mosaic of historical narratives. Each design is a celebration of artisanship, inspired by exquisite forms and cultural traditions. Following our first collaboration with The Met in the 1970s, we bring museum magic into the home once again in homage to history and the grand beauty of art.
