As the daughter of an artist, Julie was always exposed to and dabbling in different mediums. While she took countless art classes, she never landed on a particular medium that was called to her. Her need to be creative instead led her down a path that included an MFA in advertising design and a decade-long career as an art director. After stumbling upon alcohol inks at an art show and experimenting at home, Julie had finally found HER medium - the process itself spoke to her as none other had before. It is the actual process of working with alcohol inks that she enjoys. She pours combinations of ink and rubbing alcohol and directs the ink with a heat embossing tool that blows hot air, so there are no brushes or contact with the surface. It's like a little science experiment every time and is extremely rewarding. Julie's work tends to be vibrant, playful, and full of layered movement.

Ericka Wolf is an encaustic and oil artist working in Seattle, Washington. Combined with her study of color in the landscape of the natural world, Ericka tries to capture an expression that's transient and intentionally uncomplicated. Something reductive but reflective, using color as a luminous expression rather than illustration. In Ericka's current work, she's creating skies with a serenity that she has seen and felt before, and that she tries to imagine during bleak winter months in Seattle. When the state of the world itself seems bleak, she finds a quiet slowness by contemplating the sky and the broad juxtaposing of color that can exist in myriad ways. It's a calming opposite to our overstimulated culture: chaotic events and unending social media. When Eric was 16 he borrowed his father's camera traipsing through the woods behind their home, walking along dirt roads in the hills above their house, looking—always looking. Eric supposes that’s what he's doing today—walking and looking and trying to see the way that others have seen, as he attempts to see, un-see, and re-see: making all things both foreign and new. Making a small space in each photo he takes, room for the viewer, a place of both welcome and challenge. Every image is a poem. Every scene has a kind of structure. The capture of a place, for instance, involves decisions of narrative perspective (where to look, from what position), of cadence (beats, breaks, a line beneath the sky), of tone. And just like a poem, the effective image compresses emotional experience into a single, small expression.

What differentiates her work is that, unlike most “equestrian” Artists, she did not grow up around horses. She did not live on a ranch. But instead, was spiritually connected to horses with an intuitive sense of them. Donna studied them voraciously; their anatomy, form, and attitudes. She had to create her horses in order to have them, her imagination played a great role, and so her stylized abstractive works reflect a non-realistic perspective, but with accurate anatomy.

Jakob Wagner was born in 1985 in Herdecke, Germany. In summer 2008, he successfully completed his three-year apprenticeship as a photographer. After five more years as a photo assistant for a few renowned photographers, he started his own business in Düsseldorf specializing in landscape, aerial, cityscape, industrial, and fine art photography. When Jakob Wagner is not at work on commissioned assignments, he devotes much of his time and passion to his personal photography projects, which have been featured already in many art magazines, books, blogs, and exhibitions worldwide.

the print was very good. i have issue with the hanging device on each side. it is very cheap and i only hope the picture doesn't fall off the wall. someone needs to follow up on this problem. the wood frame is not wide enough on the back side to add a wider piece of wood so i can get a better hook.. Sari Shryack is an artist who primarily focuses on acrylic paints and is inspired by the city she lives in, Austin, Texas. s a kid, she loved doodling and seeing what she could create from her imagination. In college, Sari found that she loved painting-- particularly painting with acrylics-- and she knew that she wanted to try to turn this work into a career. Sari really enjoys the work of Edward Hopper and some of the Bay Area impressionists. Viewing the work of these artists always inspires her to work harder and dive deeper into her purpose as an artist. Her everyday surroundings influence her the most. Going on long runs or walks in Austin helps her understand the city more and it really informs her work. The scenes she takes in during this process have helped hone in on the detail.

Karin Bos is an Amsterdam-based artist primarily focused on people and our interaction with our surroundings. In the Netherlands infrastructure and urbanization are so widely present that it is difficult for her to find landscapes she can use as a source for her work. All dutch 'nature' is planned, organized, and designed. To develop her new series of work Karin needed more varied source material. Therefore, she has done several artist-in-residencies in Spain, Latvia, Iceland, etc. These landscapes and atmosphere have become a huge source of inspiration for her artistic work. Karin is attracted to space, the variety, the colors, the vegetation, the light, the power, and the roughness of the scenery.

Brannon Naito is a self-taught photographer and videographer from Hawaii. Born in Japan, and now living in San Francisco, CA, Brannon describes his work as moody landscape, portraits, and architecture. When describing his creative process, he says "Number one important factor in the creative process – research. Research the location, time of day to shoot, weather, traffic, etc. the list goes on. The creative process begins before you even pick up the camera. In addition, I try to shoot 2-3 shots I know I want to get with a few different focal lengths, and then I shoot 2-3 shots I wouldn’t expect anyone to shoot. This technique doesn’t always work but when it does, it provides a refreshing perspective on a likely tired view (especially in SF!)." He is most influenced by his two friends – Lance Roylo & Matthew Kawood – that he has embarked on his photography obsession. The majority of his photos and videos are highly influenced by music, television shows, and movies. Currently, moody tones tend to stylize his landscape and portrait photography, which he bases on lo-fi calm/ambiance types of music.

Originally from Southern California, Ryann now lives in Austin, TX. At 12 or 13, her dad pulled out his old Pentax Spotmatic from Vietnam, and Ryann was immediately enthralled and determined to learn enough to create a photo. In high school, she fell in love with photography and soon after enrolled at the renowned Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, where she earned a BA in Photography, majoring in architecture. When creating personal work, she does not think about how the images she's creating will be perceived by others and only shoots what she's drawn to. When asked what she's most influenced by, Ryann states: "I’ve long been drawn to the American Southwest and forgotten places - that still holds true today, nearly 20 years after first picking up a camera. I’ve always been drawn to the outdoors and landscapes, but I’m especially interested in the landscape that has been manipulated and left behind by a man."

Donna Bernstein is a self-taught artist, painter, and sculpture. Donna drew and painted horses since she was a child. What differentiates her work is that, unlike most “equestrian” Artists, she did not grow up around horses. She did not live on a ranch. But instead, was spiritually connected to horses with an intuitive sense of them. Donna studied them voraciously; their anatomy, form, and attitudes. She had to create her horses in order to have them, her imagination played a great role, and so her stylized abstractive works reflect a non-realistic perspective, but with accurate anatomy.
