An organic and instinctual painter, Artist Sarah Stockstill’s process relies on a foundation of several layers of texture that is applied and sanded back to get a smooth surface that lets her most immediate marks shine on the surface. This piece is not described well on the Perigold website. First of all, there is no mention that it comes in two pieces, not one. Second, we are not told that it is transparent - which is fine if being hung on a white wall but not a colored or wallpapered wall. Beverly Fuller was born and raised in the city of Los Angeles. As a young girl, she was fascinated with the vast diversity of the world around her. She conveyed that fascination with art and was praised by her teachers as a talented artist. She went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts degree from Whittier College and a Master of Arts from California State University, Los Angeles. After completing her education, Beverly Fuller spent the next year travelling all across the United States, soaking up inspiration that launched her into a creative journey of becoming a painter. Currently, she resides in Northern California with her husband and two daughters. Every other month, Beverly travels back down to her hometown of Los Angeles to immerse herself in the artistic community and to find her next muse.

Growing up in Chicago, Derek Shaw was inspired at a young age by the sights and sounds the Windy City had to offer. He loved to dip his creativity in many different media of art, finally finding his niche in hand paintings. His curiosity and love of discovery are his best assets as an artist, giving him the edge and inspiration to create unique pieces of art. Derek continues to live in Chicago and breathes in the inspiration the city might blow his way.
