An organic and instinctual painter, Artist Sarah Stockstill’s process relies on a foundation of several layers of texture that is applied and sanded back to get a smooth surface that lets her most immediate marks shine on the surface. This piece is not described well on the Perigold website. First of all, there is no mention that it comes in two pieces, not one. Second, we are not told that it is transparent - which is fine if being hung on a white wall but not a colored or wallpapered wall.
