Image brush gel finish is a hand-applied gel finish using strokes that follow the line of the original image giving it a subtle texture. It involves applying thick coats of gel using a brush or knife to give 3d texture to the art even once dried.

This is a beautiful print that fits in perfectly with the decor in our sitting room. Very peaceful and serene. At the recommendation of Design Services, we ordered the 'glass coat' to create a more 'high end' look. Unfortunately, we get a lot of natural light in this area which creates a glare. An organic and instinctual painter, Artist Sarah Stockstill’s process relies on a foundation of several layers of texture that is applied and sanded back to get a smooth surface that lets her most immediate marks shine on the surface. Sometimes into a deep horizon with traces of landscape, an organic jungle of pattern, a human figure, and every now and then an animal with an ethereal mystique. Sometimes the layering is broad, covering the entire canvas, and sometimes it is minute, focusing and embellishing a possible overlooked element of the painting which in turn becomes the center of interest. Most always layers are created and taken away, leaving small traces whose threads become more important for doing so.
