Artist Zoey Riley was born to very conservative and traditional parents, who did not support her interest in fine arts. Zoey pursued her passion for fine art secretly as an adolescent, due to her parent’s restrictions, and used the art she viewed in galleries as her tutor. As soon as she was of age, she fled her hometown to live in New York City to be closer to a fast-paced environment, concentrated on art galleries. Zoey used everything around her to draw inspiration, from the street signs to the dancers seen through the windows of dance studios.
