Kahler Gingerbread is a modern gingerbread house from Kahler, where the combination of a charming expression and handmade design traditions meets the warmth of the tealights creating both style and coziness on the dark December evenings. The gingerbread house is a real Christmas cake classic that comes in different versions in many countries. If you have once tried to embark on the art of cake making yourself, you will know that it is not quite that easy – but with Kahler Gingerbread you are sure of being a success and to top it all off, featuring extra Christmas spirit in your home with the light flowing out of the hand-carved windows of the lighthouse. The lighthouses come in two varieties and have a brown, matte exterior similar to gingerbread dough. They are decorated with white, shiny decorations and have a white roof-like glaze. As an important detail, the gingerbread houses are white glazed inside reflecting the warm light from the tealight to illuminate the surroundings outside the house.
Kahler Gingerbread is a series of handmade gingerbread houses, where Kahler's ceramic origins and the traditional Danish Christmas have been put into a common design formula. With a height of 17 cm, this gingerbread house exudes Christmas, charm and traditions and is the largest of the gingerbread houses. The front of the house is covered with a fine timber-framed pattern, a round and beautifully decorated window, and a large gate that invites you indoors for plenty of authentic warmth and coziness. The sides of the lighthouse are decorated with large white hearts to symbolize the season of goodwill. Create a cozy Christmas landscape by placing little elves around the houses, or use the houses individually as handmade design elements. The shiny and tactile glaze and rustic, unglazed ceramic, will look beautiful on display and spread plenty of Christmas cheer. The Gingerbread lighthouses have a brown, matt exterior, reminiscent of gingerbread dough, and are decorated with white, shiny decorations and white roofs that look like icing. An important detail is that the gingerbread houses are glazed white on the inside to reflect the warm glow from the tealights. All sizes are carved by hand, and the light from the houses creates playful clusters of light and shadow wherever you place them.
The Urbania lighthouse is a replica of a modernistic apartment house that spreads marvelous silhouettes and alluring shadows through its hand-carved windows. Its deep-white glaze is illuminated by a single tea light in a vibrant and poetic display of the diverse urban space. Create a unique porcelain town with the Urbania lighthouses and enjoy the glow of the tea light inside and outside.
Kosta Boda
The Rocky Baroque collection from Kosta Boda is an equally rebellious and playful remix of the classic column. Monumental lines collide with pop colors and raw, angular surfaces in this unique collection of candleholders. Not least in this low candlestick in glossy glaze, which is handmade in Sweden in a limited edition of 500 pieces. Design by Hanna Hansdotter.
With its refined shape, the white-glazed lighthouse with lines inspired by the most beautiful and best-preserved Roman building, the Pantheon, adds a whole new light. The shimmering light and alluring shadows of the Urbania lighthouse sparkle magically on your windowsill and fill the room with joyful expectations. Group the Urbania lighthouses in large or small urban scenes and let the handmade lighthouses brighten any season.
Urbania Klassik is a miniature house candle holder with an idiom of its own. The cute miniature Urbania lighthouses are beautiful on their own or in small clusters where the golden rays of light sparkle and dance on the snow-white ceramic glaze. Create a unique little village of your favorite Urbania lighthouses and traits, and place them on the window sill, on the coffee table, or in the hallway to personally greet your guests.
Beautiful new design from the Kähler Urbania line - all of which are stunning. The main photo is misleading, however. It is actually a cropped image of the item. I thought I was purchasing the 'FUNKIS' design from this Urbania line (attached photo), but this is the 'KLASSIK' model - which I already have. Thought I'd return it, but with the return charge, it's not worth the cost.. Patricia. . 2024-12-12 09:18:29

This breathtaking lighthouse from the Urbania series is reminiscent of the interior of a church. The thin white-glazed ceramics attains an almost transparent look when the sparkling tea light illuminates the church-inspired building from the inside. Fill your rooms with joy from the gleaming light rays and alluring silhouettes of the Urban lighthouse. Leave the lighthouse on its own or use it as part of a design tableau.
Kähler has created a Christmas collection, which is especially simple and beautiful to have in any home at Christmas time. Bache and Bendix Becker are the powers behind, a collection of small faience houses meant as closed tealight holders. Here, you get the candle house Langkirke, the finest church in a deep-white color. The candle house is modern and particularly stringent in its expression, so it is perfect together with the home’s old Christmas classics. The houses can easily stand alone, but they work especially well in combination with each other. The candle house is perfect for the windowsill.
Tivoli’s main entrance, designed by architects Richardt Bergmann and Emil Blichfeldt, was inaugurated in 1890. Bache and Bendix Becker are the artists behind Urbania, a series of small faience houses that each form an enclosed tealight holder. The ceramic tealight houses reflect a modern interpretation of urban landscape through an elegant and exclusive expression and are classical ceramic art in a beautiful, Nordic design. The tealight houses are characterized by strict silhouettes that make room for creativity in the design of each individual window, all of which are hand-carved, uniting Kahler’s unique cultural legacy with modern, quality ceramics.
Rocky Baroque is a rebellious take with ancient roots. Monumental contours meet raw, jagged surfaces in this collection of vibrant candle holders. The item from Kosta Boda resides in the borderlands between sculpture and utility object, a recurring theme in artist Hanna Hansdotter's design. Humor and irony are other tools used to interpret and challenge authoritarian principles. The result is its own genre - Rocky Baroque.
