Color is teal, not blue (teal shown in photo is accurate). But real issue is that it weighs far too much to be used for fresh floral arrangements with water added. I will look for a large and much lighter-weight jar to place inside. My bad for not checking weight, but honestly--who does that for a vase? Walls of piece are way too thick--even for terra cotta. Packing prevented breakage, but also took more than two hours to unpack and clean up huge mess--8 shopping bads of packing "peanuts," crumbling styrofoam, far more packing tape than needed. I've purchased large and far more fragile pieces also shipped halfway around the world and they were carefully and more than adequately packed AND did not require a huge cleanup effort. Having said all of this, I will still be able to use this piece. It looks just as nice as shown in the photo

Big and beautiful just what we needed!

Nice quality, but I received the wrong urn and the styrofoam pebbles in the packaging are messy.
