Unfortunately the product description doesn’t match the product. The box is not wood but a mirrored exterior (perhaps there is wood under the mirror). The one I received was scratched and had a bit of a funky finish. Sending it back because I did not want a mirrored box

Beautiful box and exactly as pictured. Arrived in great condition. I’m using it as an accent piece. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that I think it’s a bit overpriced.
