Scalamandré’s Lucca print, an adaptation of an antique hand block printed damask, is interpreted in a dramatic 54” wide printed non-woven wallcovering, which matches the fabric of the same name. The simple floral and acanthus leaf motifs give this design a graphic look. It is printed in a primarily bold palette, which is softened by the subtle texture and color variation that is typical of a hand-block pattern. The grand scale and contemporary palette give this damask a modern twist that is perfect for updating classic interiors with tall ceilings.
