This was my first experience with Scalamandre fabric, and I don’t think it’s worth the money. I have previously purchased a Rachel Ashwell fabric for $50/yard and it was higher quality than this velvet, for which I paid $142. I wouldn’t buy it again.

Amazing fabric and the color is my absolute favorite color in the whole world! I am renovating a French house and it’s been decided that this will be the anchor color for the entire house.
