Considered America’s first decorator, Elsie de Wolfe started decorating in 1905 and built an impressive career as a trusted tastemaker, surrounding herself with beauty and paving the way for generations to come. Named after this legendary woman, our iconic Scalamandré fern print celebrates her love of leafy botanicals, featuring various layered ferns and romanticized roots on top of solid ground. Tasteful whimsy mixed with exotic components results in designs that will be remembered and are important elements present in Elsie de Wolfe’s aesthetic.
