Not sure if I received a knockoff but the tray I got (open-box, non-returnable) belongs in a tool shed... It is thin, there is no darkness or depth to the etching - just light scratches, the handles are rough and appear to be an afterthought... Mine will sadly be used in the garden, as the most expensive planting tray in recorded history.
