Closeup it looks like a plastic molded piece but it's still effective because it has a lot of detail. It's ivory colored

The quality and the slight variation of the beiges and whites is just beautiful!!

These are exactly what I needed on a set of shelves. They are great quality and very sturdy stacked like this.

Ordered the medium size... Expensive, but I felt it would really add texture and interest to our living room! Out of the box, it was not as expensive looking as I had hoped ( the lid has a glue like coating over the bone inlay ) but once styled in our room, it really does look beautiful! Especially when placed with other shades of cream and white! I would order another in different size if it wasn't so pricey!
