Highgrove`s Wildflower Meadow has a vital role in supporting the diverse organic life of the garden. Following the discovery of a French archive document reminiscent of the Wildflower Meadow`s meandering serpentine path the artwork was adapted to include acer trees and Japanese maples and beehives a gift from Fortnum & Mason that is of the utmost importance to the gardens`natural sustainability. Meadow flowers including fritillaries are joined by muntjac deer and sheep who graze the meadow seasonally to aid with growth mischievous foxes and regal pheasants.
