In Gathering the Violets, Karen H. Karen Salup channels the essence of renewal and fragility through color and motion. Layers of violet, amber, and sage converge into a lyrical abstraction where gesture becomes nature’s echo. Her brushwork oscillates between control and abandon, evoking the quiet harmony found within chaos. Created 2017, this one-of-a-kind acrylic and mixed-media work on wrapped canvas is hand-signed and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Curated by R2H Modern, the piece captures Karen Salup’s signature transformation of emotion into visual poetry—a dialogue between light, memory, and intuitive energy.
