we love it, although I didn't realize that the ring is not truly black. It had some rust color, which I guess is expected for iron. The little figure is black.

These art pieces are quite beautiful and make a statement! Well worth the purchase.

Unique and Fun, especially when purchased with the complimenting pieces. I recommend for a unique organic wall piece.

If the figure was made out of the same material as the ring then I would give this 5 stars. The figure feels like plastic or a rubbery composite type plastic or resin and it seems delicately attached to the ring. I did hang them ( I bought two different Styles) and they do look good but would look even better if the figures were in iron, and welded to the ring, and the same color as the ring instead of super dark black. Also - like others have noted, some of the figures are more 3 dimensional, like Style E, so it won't lie flat on the wall - the inside arm will push against the wall. The other style I have does lie flat because the figure is facing forward instead of sideways. Too expensive for what it is.
