Queen Anne’s Lace is a delicate and beautiful flower, indicated by its noble name. Hemlock, however, is a wild and dangerous imitator. Our Summer Flower Framed Prints showcase these magnificent stems in a scientific manner, illustrating details such as their seed, germination, and blossoming stages, highlighting the slight differences between the two that can be important when encountering them in nature. Illustrations like these would have been important reference points during explorations of the 19th century and are fashioned in the style of the time. They are made of 70% fir wood, 15% MDF, 10% glass and 5% paper with a green with antique black frame finish and measure 1"W x 21.5"D x 27.5"H.
