• The great Zambezi River brings life to a diverse set of plants and wildlife and has provided the Ardmore ceramicists with a bounty of inspiration for their creations, which led to the birth of this collection. Featuring designs that draw on the artistry of the Ardmore ceramicists’ magical creations, the Zambezi Collection is an invitation to return to the grandeur of nature. It encompasses five new motifs that portray tales and elements of life around the Zambezi. Along with our distinctive linen, we selected fine silk and cotton velvet on which to showcase this collection, each cloth adding a special element of style to the fabric’s design. Ardmore Design was established as an extension of Ardmore Ceramic Art, producing beautifully designed fabric, soft furnishings, lifestyle products for the home, and accessories. The designs created for these items are inspired by the art elements of the ceramic pieces from Ardmore Ceramics which is known for its ornate ceramic art pieces. Ardmore Design looks to discover, develop, and distribute luxury designs that will play a role in sustaining the creative lives of the continent’s artistic community and feed the appetite of the world for African-sourced products.
