With margin notes signed off by J.H. Dearle, which the design team has used to guide their artistic interpretation, Meda Iris is reimagined as a small-scale design. Reminiscent of Little Chintz, stylized irises and leaves form a pattern following the symmetry of a damask structure typical of finely detailed, small-scale designs. The variety of color and movement across the pattern makes for a superb coordinating design that is both charming and enigmatic.
