You have to unscrew it to open it. It takes a tiny little screw driver to open it, of which I do not have. of which I do not have.

The opening was larger than indicated in website details. I wanted a 2X3 inch opening. It is a 2.5X3.5 inch opening. Makes a difference. Website and even the box the frame came in say 2X3. Is there a 2x3. I would prefer that. That is what I expected.
