Artist Commentary: It is rare for me to paint without listening to music as music often inspires my paintings and my mark making. I was listening to several Allman Brothers albums (yes albums that I still have from the 1970s!) while painting this and the line 'good old Sunday morning' from the song 'Blue Sky' grabbed me as I was working on the water reflections. And, it happened to be a Sunday morning at my easel and so the title just stuck.
