The bell is very hard to hear. Would be nice is the numbers were not in the glass dome but on a face. Other than that the clock is great. After regulating it keep great time.

The Leyton table clock is both a high-quality time piece as well as a work of art! The clock is honestly larger than I anticipated (in a good way) and took only about 10 minutes to set up and have running. It is important to note that the clock does include a pair of white cloth gloves in the packaging and these should always be used when touching the polished brass components as the oils on your skin can damage the finish. I placed the clock in the middle of an end table where it is easily viewed from all angles. It took about 72 hours for the clock to acclimate to my home (which required some very slight adjusting of the pendulum) and it now keeps time very well. I am thoroughly happy with this purchase!
