Additional Features

• CARVED VINES: Curling tendrils are cut in low relief around this temple jar and left unpainted; the white jar glaze pools in the grooves and shades the pattern naturally;
• TEXTURE OVER COLOR: As a carved vase the design lives in the clay itself, so the ginger jar keeps its detail from any angle and never looks flat, stamped or printed;
• HIGH FIRE PORCELAIN: The porcelain jar is hand shaped, hand carved and fired hot until dense and glassy; carving depth varies slightly on every ceramic jar, as it should;
• USE AND CARE: A neutral finish makes this chinoiserie decor easy to live with in modern rooms; dust the carving with a soft brush; a lasting wedding gift in asian decor;
• CARVED SURFACE CLEANING: Low relief vines trap dust, so work a soft dry brush over the carved vase before a damp cloth; the white jar glaze needs no wax, polish or sealing to stay bright;
