Additional Features

• SCHOLARLY SCRIPT: Columns of flowing calligraphy decor wrap this porcelain jar, framed by four sculpted ear handles at the shoulder; a literary look with genuine presence;
• BRUSHED BY HAND: Characters are hand painted stroke by stroke in cobalt, so the blue white script carries the pressure and pace of the artist rather than a printed transfer;
• SHELF FRIENDLY: At 16 in H this decorative jar fits a bookcase, buffet or bath counter without crowding; a considered home accent that layers well with lamps and framed art;
• HIGH FIRE CLAY: Shaped and fired until glassy and sealed, the ginger jar body resists water and weather; the cover follows the same tradition as a full size temple jar;
• GIFT AND CARE: A refined study or entry piece and a thoughtful gift for a teacher or a new home; dust this chinoiserie decor and asian decor with a soft dry cloth;
