Additional Features

• TRUMPET PROFILE: Named for the bloom it echoes, the morning glory shape rises from a narrow foot and opens into a wide flared vase mouth with real sculptural drama;
• FIRED, NOT PAINTED: A reactive glaze creates the color, breaking and pooling in the kiln so the brown vase surface streaks from caramel to bronze in patterns no one can repeat;
• HIGH FIRE CRAFT: Hand thrown and glazed in southern China, this porcelain vase is fired hot until dense and sealed; every ceramic vase leaves the kiln with its own markings;
• PLACE AND CARE: Wonderful with dried grasses or standing empty as sculpture; it bridges modern decor and traditional asian decor, and needs only a soft cloth to stay bright;
• PRESERVE THE REACTIVE GLAZE: Pooled caramel and bronze tones on this ceramic vase stay vivid under a soft damp cloth; abrasives and bleach flatten the depth shelf decor needs;
