Additional Features

• CARVED RELIEF: Fish glide in raised relief around the shoulder of this floor vase; the blue white glaze pools in the carving and lifts every scale; a sculptural, quietly moving surface;
• TWO CRAFTS IN ONE: The carved fish detail is cut into damp clay before glazing, so the pattern lives in the body of the porcelain vase rather than sitting on top as printed decoration;
• HIGH FIRE PORCELAIN: Shaped and finished by hand, then fired hot for a dense body; small shifts in the koi fish carving and glaze depth make each piece of chinoiserie decor singular;
• STYLING AND CARE: Fill it with branches or leave it bare as entryway decor; the sealed glaze wipes clean with a damp cloth; a lasting housewarming gift for lovers of asian decor;
• KEEP THE CARVING CRISP: Dust settles in the cut channels, so sweep the ceramic vase with a soft dry brush before a damp cloth; harsh chemicals dull the glaze on any large vase;
