Additional Features

• SUNFLOWER SCROLLS: Broad heads wind through scrolling foliage in layered cobalt, and the sunflower motif fills the surface edge to edge; a temple jar with genuine presence;
• YUAN PAINTING STYLE: The dense, banded composition follows Yuan dynasty convention, giving this porcelain jar a heavier, older character than lighter chinoiserie decor pieces;
• PAINTED UNDER GLAZE: Cobalt is brushed on before a high firing, so the sunflower motif is sealed for good; the porcelain jar body is dense, waterproof and weatherproof outdoors;
• PLACEMENT IDEAS: Use it for shelf decor in a library, beside a hearth or on a covered porch; asian decor that needs only a damp cloth to stay bright for years;
• SEALED GLAZE CARE: The high fire surface of this porcelain jar takes no stain, so a soft damp cloth and mild soap are enough; abrasives and bleach only dull it, so keep shelf decor easy;
