Additional Features

• CLASSIC BALUSTER LINE: A high shoulder narrowing to a slim foot gives this baluster vase its dynasty profile; a magpie motif perched on blossoming branches wraps the dark ground;
• STORY ON PORCELAIN: In Chinese tradition the magpie motif signals arriving joy, so this porcelain vase carries meaning as well as pattern, a quiet layer well beyond simple ornament;
• HAND FINISHED DETAIL: Each bird, bud and branch is brushed by hand over a deep ground, and the crisp black white contrast is what makes this chinoiserie decor read from across a room;
• ENTRY READY: Flank a doorway with a pair or use one as entryway decor beside a bench; fill with tall branches or leave bare; dust the home decor surface with a dry soft cloth;
• FLOOR LEVEL CARE: Dust this floor vase with a soft cloth and lift rather than drag it across wood or tile; a felt pad underneath keeps entryway decor from marking the surface below;
