Additional Features

• STORY IN COBALT: A wide porcelain bowl painted with figures gathered in a garden landscape, the blue white scene wrapping the exterior and continuing inside the rim;
• PAINTED FREEHAND: Every figure, tree and border is hand painted in southern China, so brushwork varies subtly between pieces, the detail that separates real chinoiserie decor from print;
• HIGH FIRE BODY: The ceramic bowl is thrown and fired hot until the glaze seals to a glassy, waterproof surface, the same craft that carried asian decor across centuries;
• MANY USES: Float blooms in this decorative bowl, fill it with fruit, or use the blue bowl to corral keys by the door; wipe with a soft damp cloth to keep the glaze clear;
• FRUIT BOWL FRIENDLY: The glassy sealed surface of this centerpiece bowl wipes clean after fruit or floating blooms; wash by hand with mild soap and console decor stays ready;
