Additional Features

• COBALT FLORALS: Full blown peony and vine work wraps the shoulder in classic blue white brushwork; the open mouth turns the traditional jar shape into a usable flower vase;
• BRUSHED NOT PRINTED: Every line is hand painted in cobalt under the glaze, so shading, petal weight and vine spacing differ from one porcelain jar to the next by design;
• HIGH FIRE BODY: Fired hot in southern China until vitrified, this temple jar shape is watertight for fresh stems and the blue vase glaze is weatherproof for a covered porch;
• TIMELESS STYLING: The cornerstone of chinoiserie decor and a staple of traditional asian decor; a classic that suits weddings, holidays and housewarming gifting alike;
• COBALT STAYS TRUE: A clear high fire glaze seals the blue white painting, so a soft damp cloth is all this ginger jar needs; avoid bleach and pads that would dull the shine;
