Additional Features

• BLOOMING PANELS: Full peony heads and scrolling leaves cover this temple jar, with foo lion handles set at the shoulder; the blue white cobalt keeps every petal crisp;
• HANDLES WITH MEANING: Sculpted lion masks guard the sides, a detail a plain peony motif jar lacks; they lift this ginger jar from decoration into something more ceremonial;
• HIGH FIRE CRAFT: Hand shaped and hand painted, then fired hot so the cobalt sinks into the glaze; every porcelain jar varies slightly, proof the ceramic jar is not molded;
• USE AND CARE: Keep it lidded as chinoiserie decor, or open it for branches; waterproof and weatherproof indoors or out; wipe clean; a landmark gift within asian decor;
• AROUND THE HANDLES: Dust gathers in the sculpted foo lion masks, so brush the temple jar there before wiping the ginger jar down with a damp cloth; abrasive pads will scar the glaze;
