Additional Features

• PEONY IN FULL BLOOM: Layered petals open across the body of this ginger jar, the peony motif brushed in cobalt from a pale wash to a deep outline for genuine visual depth;
• CLASSIC PROFILE: A domed cover finishes the lidded jar, and the whole surface is hand painted freehand, so bloom placement and line weight differ from one piece to the next;
• HIGH FIRE PORCELAIN: Shaped where porcelain was invented, this porcelain jar is fired hot for a dense, glassy, water resistant shell in the enduring tradition of the temple jar;
• PAIRS BEAUTIFULLY: Buy two for symmetry on a buffet or let one carry a bookcase; a lasting gift for lovers of chinoiserie decor and asian decor; dust with a dry cloth;
• KEEP THE SHINE: A soft damp cloth restores the gloss on this porcelain jar between dustings; avoid bleach and abrasive creams so mantel decor keeps its deep cobalt clarity;
