Additional Features

• SWIMMING PATTERN: A fish motif circles the body of this lidded jar among waterweed and ripples, painted with the loose confident line of traditional workshop brushwork;
• SYMBOLIC MEANING: Fish stand for abundance and good fortune in Chinese tradition, so this decorative jar brings meaning as well as pattern to a room of chinoiserie decor;
• HANDMADE PORCELAIN: Hand shaped and hand painted, then kiln fired at high heat until the porcelain jar is dense, glassy and resistant to water, sun and everyday wear;
• PLACEMENT IDEAS: Strong mantel decor flanking a mirror, entry asian decor, or a covered patio piece; wipe with a soft damp cloth and always lift the lid by its knob, not the rim;
• GIFT READY UPKEEP: Wipe this temple jar with a soft damp cloth before it goes on display; mild soap handles stubborn marks, and no sealing is needed to keep the chinoiserie decor bright;
