Absolutely gorgeous box. I use it to store my statement earrings, and it looks gorgeous on my dresser on top of another chevron patterned bone inlaid box with drawers that I use for jewelry.

Some of the wooden tiles on the box came unglued and had to be repaired. The quality of the wood itself is not very good

It's a handsome box, but I'm not convinced it's worth the $60 or $70 I paid for it. The construction is a pressboard of some sort, covered with wood pieces. Workmanship is acceptable, though I have to wonder how long it will be before the veneer pieces begin to fall off. Dimensions match up, and the fit of the lid is solid, and it is reasonably attractive. It also fulfilled a need when I was having difficulty finding boxes of this type.
