I called a Perigold representative asking if this bowl was food safe. She said it was. I bought the bowl excited as I would have a large bowl to place my fruit. When the package arrived, I turned the bowl upside down to read the bowl description label. It is NOT food safe. Stated for decorative purpose's only. I wanted a bowl beautiful and functional. Unfortunately I returned it.

The bowl is more beautiful than the picture. It is also larger than I expected and I use it as a statement instead of an accent. The color is rich and the glaze is very thick giving is a hand made feel. It is empty for now and if I find the right thing, I may add something to bowl. Either way, it’s lovely.

Great size and the orange color really pops in the room!
