This really is a striking decor piece in person and I genuinely love the organic, collected feel it adds to my space. The stand feels sturdy, the wood itself is substantial, and it has that earthy, natural look that makes it feel much more special than something mass produced. Once I styled it, I appreciated how unique it was and found myself drawn to all the natural details and grain patterns. The reason I gave it 3 stars instead of 5 is because the piece I received looks dramatically different from the listing photo. Mine is much darker with completely different tones and patterning overall. I do understand that petrified wood will naturally vary and the listing does mention variation, but I personally think the product page would benefit from showing several example pieces so buyers can better understand just how extreme the differences can be from one piece to the next. If the listing had made the level of variation a little clearer visually — maybe with 3–5 examples — I honestly would’ve given this 5 stars, because the quality and uniqueness are absolutely there. Just go into it expecting your piece to potentially look very different from the exact photo online.

I know that no two pieces of petrified wood are exactly the same, but the piece I got has absolutely no striations or interest to it. It is just dark brown and boring. Deeply disappointed when you look at the piece that is shown on their website vs. what I got.

Really beautiful piece

The piece is primarily white so not really usable for the grouping I put together. It looks very contemporary and not organic. It looks very different from the photo shown. So disappointed.
