The Met x Eichholtz presents the Marble Vase Bennington in white marble, a refined decorative object that celebrates timeless American design with modern materials.Cleanlined and sculptural, this solid marble piece brings a sense of heritage and permanence to contemporary interiors. Carefully carved from white marble, this piece reinterprets a historic American design originally crafted in ceramic. Its classical silhouette and substantial weight offer a stately presence, perfect for elevating mantels, consoles, or shelves. Historic provenance: This piece is inspired by an earthenware vase made by the United States Pottery Company between 1852 and 1858 in Bennington, Vermont. The Marble Vase Bennington honors the form of the original vase, which we've reimagined in solid stone.
