This "Sand Lion," made of finely sculpted crystal, reflects the strength and power of this majestic animal, considered the king of the savannah. Its name is a reference to the Sand River which crosses through the Savi sand reserve in the heart of the Kruger National Park, attracting the most concentrated population of diverse wildlife in South Africa, including a dense population of Lions. Kruger National Park is the largest animal reserve in South Africa.
