This is a gorgeous piece of art that awakens you with a gradual sunrise, and the chirp of your choice along with other nature sounds. I bought one from another company and returned it because I could not get the app to work. I made a mistake. The microphone on my android phone and my iPad is on the top, not the bottom and then following the video I tried to make it work from the bottom and it was never going to work, also, you have to make sure your volume is way up and then there is no issue setting anything on this clock alarm clock. I am also going to write to the company and apologize because it was my mistake not theirs if you want a really beautiful thing by your bedside to make you smile every day this is well worth the money , but I am only giving it four stars because they do give you video guidance setting up the app but show the phone they are using w microphone on bottom. Some of us are not techy.

Almost perfect. The lamp is well made and beautiful. I feel happy when I see it in the morning. The warm color temperature and brightness of the light makes me think of sunlight. The nature sounds are high quality and I didn't notice a loop like I have with other nature sound alarm clocks. Setting it up is easy with the app. The cons? One, you have to set the alarm every day. When you turn it off (or it automatically turns off after 15 minutes), it's off until you set it again. Why? Two, the alarm/light automatically shuts off after 15 minutes. This was meant to be a convenience, but if I want to relax in bed with the sounds of nature and the glow of the light, the room returns to darkness too soon, spoiling the pleasant effects. I hope they fix these two issues!

The app and my new out of the box alarm won’t connect. I was hoping I could reset or trouble shoot but the design lacks such an option. I find this to be absurd. I’m waiting for the customer service to get back to me but first impression is negative considering the pricing of this.
