The Imperial green long-neck vase is a decorative green vase that has its roots far from the past. The Imperial label is apropos for the porcelain vase because this piece is made of clay sourced from the area surrounding the kilns that produced objects for the Imperial estate during the heyday of the dynasties. The formula to achieve the particular green on the surface of this vase is a secret one guarded by ceramicist families devoted to the single color. The glossy, rich green was originally produced exclusively for those in high society.
