Additional Features

• Leather strips are interlaced by hand so the surface reads as overlapping shingles, a texture that rewards a close look.
• The strips are cut narrow, so the shingled surface stays fine-grained instead of looking like a chunky basket weave.
• The hinges are set into the back edge rather than mounted on it, so the lid closes without any metal breaking the outline.
• Suede lining cushions the inside, so jewelry, remotes, keys, and cords stay protected instead of rattling against a hard shell.
• Two boxes in different sizes let you stack them for a layered vignette or split them between rooms where storage is needed.
