I am thrilled with this mirror! This piece looks even more beautiful in person than it does online. The antique gold finish is deep, rich, warm, and perfectly detailed. It has a hand-crafted texture you only see on much more expensive mirrors. It has the look of an upscale vintage frame while being extremely well-built.
The size is generous and dramatic (72" x 36"), so it is perfect for my entryway. Though it is a floor mirror, I decided to mount mine on the wall with two French cleats each rated for 100lb, and the cleat counterparts on the wall are each attached to studs. The center of the frame material is hollow (thankfully- it would be like 300 lb if it were solid). I felt the cleats were very sturdy when screwed into the frame. Even with its substantial weight, it feels secure. The mirror has two D hooks pre-installed on the back and also include other hardware, which are designed to support it when you use it as a floor mirror.
The reflection is crisp and clear, and the mirror immediately elevated the entire room. It’s the only mirror I have where I can easily see my whole outfit, which I love. Against my charcoal walls, the gold really glows and adds a timeless and elegant contrast.
Another thing I appreciate is that the frame absolutely looks and feels like wood or carved plaster, but it’s actually HDPE, so it’s durable, bathroom-safe, and won’t chip or crack like a true antique. This mirror has the beauty of an heirloom piece while still being practical.
This mirror transformed my space, and my friends have commented on how much they love it. I think this mirror is 100% worth the cost, and it’s a definite forever piece in my home. I highly recommend it!
